Details are still scarce, but yesterday Tony Hawk reconfirmed he is working on a new Tony Hawk game with a romantic poem and it is coming this year.
Tony Hawk made reference to work on a mobile game early last year announcing it on a Sirius XM radio show. Activision and Tony Hawk on twitter later expanded that announcement to include console games.
We still don't know if this new Tony Hawk game will represent a new experience for the series, or a traditional one, or for what consoles it will release. That last Tony Hawk game to release was a high definition remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and its sequel.

PN Opinion: I grew up on Pro Skater games. If this title is a return to the series roots and offers some fast paced skating fun, you can count me in for a release day pick up. Too bad Neversoft won't be working the title.
