Minecraft for the Xbox One will be releasing in August of this year. Players that own the game on the Xbox 360 (Disc or digital) will be able to get the game on the ONE for a small price of $4.99. All of your maps are able to migrate and they are also saying that most (not all, but most) texture and skin packs will transfer to the Xbox One as well.
This is great news for fans of the game and those afraid they'd have to drop another $20 on the game.
