Naboo is the sector capitol of the Chommell sector near the Outer Rim territories. It is a largely unspoiled world with large plains, swamps and seas mostly known for being the home world of historic figures Padmé Amidala, Emperor Palpatine and Jar Jar Binks. Currently, the Galactic Empire has taken interest in the planets human capitol city of Theed as surveillance shows a large increase in rail traffic in and out of the city with potential links to the Rebel Alliance. Despite questioning and accusations, Queen Kylantha maintains that her planet holds no opposition to the Imperial rule and has agreed to cooperate with their investigation. However, Grand Moff Tarkin has trouble believing the royal family and has issued an official siege of the capitol city. While Kylantha speaks the truth in regards to her peoples innocence, the Empire is right in their suspicions. Rugor Nass, leader of Otoh Gunga, has been coordinating with Rebel Forces in hopes of severing Naboo's bonds with the Galactic Empire in favor of founding a New Republic. As Imperials prep for their assault, Rebel soldiers lie in wait through out the swamps to defend and liberate Theed.
Gears of War Ultimate Edition Versus
Date: 8/26/15
Time: 8 PM EST
Number of Players: Up to 8.
Balancing: Even number of players per team with rotations as needed.
Rewards: Two tickets for members for the winning team, one ticket for members of the losing team.
In the Gears of War Ultimate Edition Versus event, the Rebel and Imperial forces will battle it out in five phases on five different maps and four different game modes.
Bullet Marsh (Team Deathmatch) - Imperial forces touchdown in the swamplands of Naboo's surface in preparation for their assault on Theed. Unknown to them, Rebel Soldiers are ready and waiting to strike against the initial wave of troops in hopes of thinning out the Imperial Strike Force.
Gridlock (Team Deathmatch) - As the Imperials reach Theed, the Rebels who have been stationed in the city emerge along side the remaining opposition from the swamps including Gungan aid. The first battle within the city limits begins.
Tyro Station (King of the Hill) - Imperial Soldiers move to occupy the rail system of Theed in an attempt to cut off supply chains to the Rebel Forces. The two teams must fight to gain control of transportation shuttles and the precious cargo they carry.
Escalation (Execution) - The Imperial Strike Force approaches the Theed Palace. Rebels must hold the line and prevent the assault from continuing further.
Mansion (Assassination) - Imperials have breached the Queen's Palace. Multiple high value targets from both sides are on the ground and engaging in combat. Both teams are tasked with eliminating the enemy teams officers.
