I think it's really cool that we are going to be able to forge in some of the Halo 2 maps (the remastered ones). I remember when Forge was first announced for Halo 3, I read about it in some magazine, either OXM or Game Informer... I was in Pennington Gap, VA with absolutely no internet connection and I couldn't piece together why forge would be a huge thing. I, at the time, had never touched Xbox Live but only dreamed of it. That was back when I thought Xbox Live was a place to team up with fellow communicative gamers where you would devise precise plans and give out heavy call outs, call for back up and have epic battles over some flags. Boy was I in for a surprise. Although, I have had some really good games like that recently in Black Ops II League Play. It turns out, if everyone's working for a mutual goal (in this case a rank) people tend to work together much better. My love for competitve game play has been revitalized by it. This is one of the primary reasons I'm insanely excited for this launch. Some people are being negative or poking fun that I'm just buying four games I've already played. But they fail to realize these games are what introduced me to Xbox and the FPS genre. I've always dreamt of playing Halo: CE online, imagine my shame when I found out Anniversary was just reaches multiplayer on some kinda familiar maps... Come November you bet your ass I'll be fragging on Blood Gulch for hours on end while trying to redeem myself and get my 50 in Halo 3 as well as giving the infamous Halo 2 a shot since I only played about an hour online on that game. And of course, getting my 130 and 50 in Halo 4 once again. Which brings up my next question, will Halo 3/4 carry rank from the 360 titles? I'd prefer a clean slate to start from
