Back in DiY Gaming, I developed a Video Game for our community. After searching for quite some time, I've found the original download link thus allowing all Panic Nation members access to the original game. The game requires the RPG Maker XP Run Time Package to play which I've also linked below.[RPG Maker XP RTP: www.rpgmakerweb.com/download/additional/run-time-packages] - On the page, click 'RPG Maker XP', scroll down and install it.] [Nova's Quest: The Dawn: www.mediafire.com/download/21h5o4f4jw5tbey/NQ+-+The+Dawn+V1.0.exe] Along with the discovery of the original game, comes the announcement of the spiritual successor. The Panic Nation themed game is now in development on a new engine (VX Ace as opposed to XP). Screenshots below show early work. And as a bonus, a screenshot from the forgotten project, Nova's Quest 2

Speaking of this Tyler if you're still interested in my help I'm still interested in giving it, and would love you to send me that book like we had talked about doing.

Speaking of this Tyler if you're still interested in my help I'm still interested in giving it, and would love you to send me that book like we had talked about doing. The planning for the game is still in the very early stages. I've designed an early alpha of the new Avanas and have messed around with Nova's design but not much else. Once I get a dedicated idea down and a basic questline laid out I'll likely be looking for help. I purchased four copies of the software on Steam today. One for myself and three for a development team. I need these people to be extremely dedicated and knowledgeable in their field. I'll keep you up to date.

Im so happy this is coming back, if you need help with writing or anything, lemme know! The last time we tried that, you never did any work.
On another note, I scrapped the original idea of the sequel and have just went back to the drawing board on the whole idea. At points, the game was getting too 'serious' which I think was a flaw in the original. The best parts were just the utterly insane and hilarious bits that didn't make any sense. I'm looking to make the game a parody of our community and the games we play. I'm considering doing this using only the assets provided in-engine as opposed to crafting my own materials due to my lack of skill and time. This of course, is subject to change. I had about five hours put into the game at this point with around fifteen minutes of gameplay ready and tested. But, it just wasn't going to make sense in the long run. So, I'm at step one and rethinking the entire process. The story will follow (comedically) the events of the first game, explaining why Mushoe is no longer our king and why we changed the name from DiY to Panic Nation. The entire game will be based on Nova trying to keep Panic Nation from collapsing around everyone's feet since he is the only competent member in the entire group (guild, in game). Members of Panic Nation will appear in game with their own personalities and will have playable missions that parody gaming, film, etc. That's the current plot, if anyone has any suggestions feel free to inbox them.
