So, I'm in a Halo mood today after seeing the news on the Halo: TMC Collection. I was watching an interview from E3 and heard the interviewer talking about a famous E3 showing for Halo 2 back in 2003 and decided to look it up. Below is that video, recorded on some handheld recorder allowing you to hear the audiences reactions.
I got excited hearing people in the crowd go absolutely bananas when they saw what would become staples in the Halo series for the time including duel-wielding, mounted turret use, bots being able to drive and jacking vehicles.
It goes to show how much we can advance in a decade of gaming and shows what we possibly take for granted when small things used to seem so huge.
