Alright. So I just left the theater about an hour ago and am dying to discuss the film with someone.

First, I'd like to say that personally, this film was great but it failed to connect with me on the same level as the previous films. Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon is one of my favorite films of all time, if not tied for the first. I was very disappointed to see that Optimus Prime and Bumblebee (and Brains if you count him) were the only two remaining autobots from the first three films. Which brings me to my next point...

MY FAVORITE FUCKING AUTOBOT DIED IN THE FIRST GOD DAMN THIRTY MINUTES!

Rachet, the medic of ALL OTHER AUTOBOTS!, was gunned down by a bunch of pansy ass fucking cock smoking humans. It was so bad, that Ratchet actually shot and killed humans while screaming in pain and begging for a cease fire. He had his spark removed by Lockdown.

Of the new autobots, Crosshairs looks awesome. The trenchcoat thing is amazing, but the only one that really came off as likeable was by far Hound, who's toy I actually went and bought after the movie despite them being more expensive and made with much shittier material that DOTM's figures.

I'm sick and fucking tired of Mark W. constantly saying "Lucky Charms" and my biggest issues with the film were actually very odd things to complain about. Way too much death, way to much comedic relief (How do you say get the fuck out of the way in chinese!?) and way too much action. Yes, I understand how hypocritical that is. I hated that the autobots were all against each other and the humans and ready to bail the fuck out. I hated that Drift put his sword to bee's throat. I hated that Optimus just jetpacked the fuck outta here. I hated that the dino bots had such little screen time. I hated that the surfer guy got fried. I hated that Gaveltron lacked Megatron's personality. I hated the way the new KSI bots transformed. I hated that every time I saw KSI I thought of the Xbox Live Clan Knowledge, Strength, Intergrity. I hated that I had a headache from the CONSTANT action.

However, I also loved these parts. My favorite parts of the film are A: When the autobots raid KSI fucking boss style, B: When Optimus blows that bald prick the fuck off the face of the planet, C: When hound manages to rape fucking face defending the bomb and D: When Lockdown got his fucking head ripped in half.

I do have questions. Most of them stim from the same reason that I FUCKING HATE MICHAEL BAY, Continuity. Where the fuck is Sideswipe, Wheels, Jolt, Mudflap and Skids, I know the final two died in TF3's script and you can actually see there remains but they never even mention them.

Speaking of which, why does Bumblebee or Optimus -NEVER- fucking mention Sam? Not a single fucking time. Bee's -best- friend is just gone and no one says a word? Why is bee such a fucking asshole and why did Hound get more screen time than Bee?

Look, I know my favorite Autobots are all dead. I know my only chance of that not happening is by growing to favor Optimus or Bee over the others (Ironhide, anyone?) but Bay still manages to fuck up continuity every fucking film.

With me being a newer Transformers fan, only learning of the series -really- through the original trilogy and falling beyond in love with it through TF3, I don't have a whole lot of background to go off of. But what I do have to go off of is that in TF3, I saw it in theaters three times and cried every single time Barricade executed Wheeljack and almost raped bumblebee.

This film, I got a little emotions -once- and I don't even remember what part of the film it was at. When Ratchet died I was more frustrated than bummed. I felt like Bay tried way to hard to pull emotion even with spielbergs help.

All of that said, as I said before, the movie was good. I liked it. It just pales in comparison to three for me. I like the new humans, I can grow to like the new autobots (Hounds already good in my book, which means he'll be dead or simply disappear in TF5) but I swear to fucking god if Bay doesn't just concentrate on continuity I'll cry.

I think that's about it...

Oh, also, Linkin Park > Imagine Dragons on the soundtrack.

I also really loved the movie and was bummed about some of the same stuff like surfer dude and ratchet.And something i saw in a lot of the big action scenes was that explosions were really fake looking like there was huge fucking badass flames that went ape shit but they put like little firework sparks in front of the huge red flames. I really liked the samurai i thought he was rad as shit and i think that the main reason for all that bee hostility was that when all the people that lead you and keep you all in line all the people start freaking out.Hound was rad cause his ass kickery.Trenchcoat was rad mainly because that air shit he did but i kinda felt since he has parachutes that he should have had a flying transformation. ummm oh the reason i believe that megatron wasn't as mega as he usually is was because his whole body and everything was remade he has no spark because humans can't do that so i think he was mostly getting used to his new body.I really enjoy marky mark being in the series because marky mark is a badass and i really like how he played his character.I also kinda like that they showed a more emotional side of optimus because in the others he's always cared for his team and his comrades but when he saw ratchet get melted he went fucking ballistic.But all that said i thoroughly liked the flick

But fair enough. The scene where the Irish kid jumped his car out of the building and landed on the ramp looked extremely poorly done in my opinion.

But, as far as Optimus zooming off. I severely doubt TF5 will exclude him.

Yea I agree about 5 I think optomis will be absent for half of the movie and bee will be incharge while hes gone. I agree about the ramp it looked to nice to be like thar, but there is the fact that he's a pro racer so he mighta bought it.

The wikipedia page says we should see Transformers 5 come 2016. So, two years. I don't know how I feel about it. I watched three again today and it's much better than 4, but 4 might be growing on me more. I do want to see it again.

I had a great bit of excitement for 4 when it was announced a few years ago but it slowly diminished away. I'm finding it hard to get pumped for five considering all my favorite autobots have been killed at this point.

Not to mention, knowing Michael Bay - Hound, Crosshairs and Drift won't even be in the new movie since he is incapable of keeping regular bots coming back.

It's not just the deaths. Bay is notorious for just throwing characters away. Do you remember Jolt from Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen? Of course you don't. He popped up in about three scenes and never had a speaking role. He was a bad ass dude that used electricity in his attacks, and transferred JetFires spark to Optimus. I've posted some screen shots of him below.

Also, Mudflap and Skids. In Canon, they just poofed. If you read the wikipedia page you'll find that they were in TF3 and died fighting Sentinal once he attacked and killed Ironhide. You can see them in one scene of the movie, driving into the hanger, and you can see their bits being scattered when Bumblebee is rolling away from Sentinals blast. However, Bay being Bay, never gave us something in film to confirm it. Photos of them in the movie posted as well.

Mudflap is present when the Autobots are awaiting Colonel Lennox and Director Mearing, and he is apparently talking to Wheeljack alongside Skids. They are also present outside of the base when Ironhide, Ratchet, him, and Skids await the arrival of Sentinel Prime, Mirage, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and Sam Witwicky. However, Sentinel betrays the Autobots upon his arrival, and executed Ironhide with his Acid Rust Blaster. As Bumblebee is about to be executed - Skids takes the aim and is killed. Mudflap tries to avenge his fallen brother by attacking Sentinel in anger, but Sentinel shoots Mudflap, which causes him to rust and fall apart as well, and die.

Well here is my take on TF4: Age of Extinction, I happen to see the movie twice; I saw it once at a pre release then once on opening day with a buddy.

Drift who happened to be decepticon before he had switched sides due to the war back on cybertron. Now I flipped out in amazement on opening night that Michael Bay, had made him a triple changer; but I'm sure he most like won't do something like that again. I mean Drift only had two scenes in his triple changer which okay I guess but none the less I enjoyed his character, besides fucking challenging Bee to see who's the better fighter.

Crosshairs was interesting in the movie even to be the first guy to have a trench coat in the movie franchise. Although I hated his character, he was just a douchebag throughout most of the movie.

Now for Hound, I loved how he changed into some kind of military truck, but didn't like the fact that he had a big belly, but being able to add a robotic beard and use a used weapon shell as a cigar was just BAD ASS; plus having him also voiced by John Goodman.

As much as I enjoy bumblebee I only mostly enjoyed "don't give fuck attitude" in TF4. I mean he was alright in the other movies but I felt like he tipped over the BAD ASS scale in movie 4. Although it made me angry that I didn't see a lot of Bumblebee in the entire movie.

Everything else, I loved the new truck mode of Optimus especially he transfer mode scene with peeling off of the G1 truck mode into the new TF4 mode. I also like how they gave optimus the knight look with sword of the primes and jet boots.

Having there be a bounty hunter like Lockdown was to be expected. I immediately knew it was him from the trailer before the movie came out, because I mean the hook on the right arm all the more made sense. I did not like how they kind off Ratchet in TF4, it just make much sense even when they explained that in vivid detail. Lockdown's ship was okay, I mean the gravity well was much of a plus but I didn't like the cyberhounds or the funny looking clean up crew when the Mark's Daughter was on board. Now I was kinda looking forward towards having a new main protagonist for the movie which happen to be Mark Walberg. And the reason behind how Mark became the next protagonist was because of how Michael Bay and Mark worked so well with each other in the making of Pain & Gain. Now I had to admitted that Mark's character threw me off, but I enjoyed some parts to his character.

Dinobots in the movie was BAD ASS, but the average scale to Optimus in robot mode was a bit intimidating. But none the less I loved it that much more. I liked that Bay made Grimlock breathe fire, from the game Fall of Cybertron, but I didn't like how all of the dinobots couldn't talk. I heard they took out sludge, since sludge is a useless character. Snarl never made it to movie, which made me sad. I also happen to hear that there was a Velociraptor in the movie, but never saw the damn thing once.

Galvatron, I was not expecting him to be the truck, I expected him to be Motormaster, since I heard the slew of supercars in the movie, but too have Megatron come back also made sense. His character was interesting, but he was still a man of few words in TF4. Now when he made his army in the factory, I noticed some familiar faces on some of the decepticons. I saw Soundwave and Shockwave remade in Galvatron's own image, plus a lot of other brethren from past movies.

Now the scene with modified rally car off that jump and onto that landing I felt could have CGI ed, and rendered a bit better. Now to see Mark leave his only empolyee to die was kind of a dick move. I mean the surfer guy's character was alright, but it was sad to see him go, being turned into the bear metals the make up a cybertonians.

But Cap, I hope this makes you feel a little bit about Jolt from TF2: Revenge of the Fallen since he didn't get much screen time.

That flash animation of Jolt was pretty awesome, but it doesn't make up for the neglect of him in Revenge of the Fallen. Then again, that entire movie was a cluster fuck of jumping around (Shia's cast, anyone?)

As far a Velociraptor, there was no dinobot raptor. There may have been an actual velociraptor in the opening scene on prehistoric earth but no. I think people are getting Scorn confused as a raptor (he is actually a three sailed Spinosaurus).

I also didn't see any of the Decepticon's you spoke of. They all looked the same to me, and I didn't really even acknowledge them as Decepticons so much as just bots. Hell, I didn't even realize Bumblebee was fighting Stinger until he said "Nobody likes cheap knockoffs" as he finished him up.

As for Hound, I love the 'heavy set' bots such as him and Leadfoot and out of the new bots he is by far my favorite. I'll agree with you that Crosshair was an asshole. He looked cool and had one or two decent scenes but he didn't have the attitude of an autobot, to be honest, none of them did.

I was beyond disappointed that Bumblebee didn't have much screen time but even more so that Ratchet was killed, Wheels was no where to be seen (among tons of other bots) and there wasn't a single mention of Sam. Bumblebee and him were best friends, you'd think he'd at least got a mention.

Marks character was alright. The more I think about him, the more I can agree on that. I hated his banter with his daughters boyfriend. When he found Optimus, I expected Bay to develop a bond between the two of them to make up for the lack of the Sam and Bee bond, he didn't.

In short, the whole movie I didn't see any decepticons nor consider the labbots anything close to them. I'm also surprised to see that all those 'RACIST!' callers that spoke up against Mudflap and Skids didn't say anything about Drift. Which reminds me, Bumblebee should've smacked that fucking sword out of his hand. I hated that the autobots were all against each other just as much as the enemy, and it was like Optimus didn't have any leadership. Hound, was literally the only bot to follow orders without question.

Also, here's a trailer for a new Transformers arcade cabinet. Sadly, it's Japan only at the moment. EDIT: Actually, someone commented on the source for this (GI) that they have seen this cabinet at an arcade fairly close to me. Going to go check it out in a bit.
