So late yesterday it was announced that today (Saturday July, 26) there will be; in addition to the pre-scheduled Iron Banner event, another public event on the Destiny beta. This one will be another story mission, but instead of the post-apocalyptic old Russia scene that we're all used to. This mission will be set on the moon. So get ready, because at 2:00pm PST (5:00pm EST) we are going to the moon.

Thanks for posting this, David. I've had a super difficult time figuring out just what in the hell Bungie has been talking about with this game. I knew this event was happening, I knew Iron Banner was happening, but to be honest I can't follow a damn thing said in the game and I didn't know what IB actually was until it was explained to me by some dude on Reddit.

Just trying to promote interest in it from everyone else. I'm pretty surprised that more ppl aren't playing.
