There's a black market dealer in Destiny, he's name is Xûr. Apparently he sells exotic weapons, armors, and gear. In exchange for Strange Coins

In this video Mercury has been confirmed to be in Destiny as a multiplayer map, Moreconsole also talks about the white PS4, and also mentions the first DLC.
The Warlock subclass Sunsinger has been renamed to Firesinger.
In Destiny a couple things are gonna get nerfed and buffed. The Auto Rifle is getting nerfed (because they killed the quickest in the Beta) Also the Interceptor's getting a slower fire rate, and you have to be more accurate in order to hit someone. As well as there's going to be one neutral Interceptor on the moon map, known as "First Light". so now both teams are gonna fight over the one Interceptor.
The weapons getting buffed are the Hand Cannon, and the Pulse Rifle.

If you disbelieve this. Deej posted a comment in an old weekly mail sack telling a story of one of the developers being a coward, and then a gaurdian showed up with a sword to fight off the hive.

Xûr, Agent of the Nine is an ally that can only be described as a black market figure, selling extremely rare and useful items. One of the items he sells requires a “Black Market Coupon.” As we can see from many of the Exotic quality pieces of equipment, it seems that Xûr plays an important role in acquiring these items.

Now, we’re very close to launch – the final weeks. This next milestone carries a heavier weight of finality. Destiny is Gold. Discs are being pressed and packed into crates. Destiny is done, in some respects. Even now, so close to the end, it still feels like we’re just getting started.
