So, Slipknot put out a new song for the first time since 2008 titled "Negative 1". You can listen to it here; www.slipknot1.com/Thoughts? I think it's great and sounds very much like their old stuff. |

omfg that shit is great i've always been a bit of a Slipknot fan, and then I heard Duality and fell in love with Corey Taylor's voice. Then he started the side project of Stone Sour (which I don't know a single song I don't like) and I loved him even more, then the last one or two albums of Slipknot kinda weren't awesome, but it was cuz it was too much like Stone Sour and not Slipknot. Then a few years back when Paul (I think it was him) died they had said that they would never do anything with out all the members I figured Slipknot was dead, but this shit rocks, and I agree it is a lot like early Slipknot. Can't wait to hear more.

They released one album after Paul's death. It was 'OK', it had Psychosocial on it.
However, if you didn't notice, Joey Jordinson is no longer their drummer. He was removed late last year and no details have been released on why.
