So, as some of you know, last night Sam and I went to see Coheed and Cambria in Charlotte, NC last night. The entire night we managed to stay in the front of the pit, my arms clinging onto the gate with locked elbows to give Sam and this five foot metal head breathing room while I pushed back against the insane mob of people.
The entire show was fucking insane. Coheed had a band they recently signed, "Thank you Scientist" open for them. These guys are a fusion of Progressive Rock and Ska. Meaning they play some amazing rock music with a fucking violin, Saxaphone and Trumpet. We got the meet them after the show and take a picture. They were funny as fuck (with my sense of humor, boner jokes everywhere.) and seriously some of the nicest people I'd ever met in my life. Their drummer was the highlight of the entire concert for me, that dude was insanely fucking skilled.
Here is Sam and I with them, the drummer is the awesome guy directly between us. These dudes have gained a fan for life.
Coheed closed with their anthem, "Welcome Home". At this point, I went fucking ballistic and drenched everyone within a ten foot radius with salty sweat as I tossed my hair around and rubbed my bare skin all up on theirs. It was a very sexy moment.
