Alright since, nobody started this I decided to do it myself; so in doing so I will make a short list of games. That I think people would like to jump onto since a few of them are pretty cheap now. If you have a game recommendations weather it be actual disc games, digital downloads, and or arcade post them below. These are just a few off the top of my head, I will update it as I go.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron | Disc - The game plays in a 3rd person style fps, the game is overall tons of fun. The game has a very vast and fun, there is a large customizable area for making your own transformer, to make it look how you want it to look in muliplayer. Both the Campaign is both fun as it is challenging, along with that of Escalation. Escalation is your typical survivor based tower defense, just with the turrets; so its more like Call of Duty: Zombies to an extent.
Hydro Thunder: Hurricane | Arcade - Hydro Thunder as you might not have known is a boat racing game, well where you raceboats. The Campaign is somewhat short but is also extremely challenging, since most the challenges work towards giving you some of the achievements in the game. The game soon becomes easier to figure out and how to beat the AI in the game. But once you think you got "Game" Head on over to multiplayer if you feel like putting your skills up to test against other Hydro Thunder enthusiasts. So are good at the game, some are bad; and some are just plain insane at the game. But the whole point of Hydro Thunder is to play with 8 of your friends minus yourself online. The core game has about 8 tracks and about 9 boats I think, then if you want the Tempest DLC that gives you the rest of the boats and tracks. There is 3 tracks in the dlc as well as 2 new boats and repeats of old one, but with better stats.
Skullgirls | Arcade - Skullgirls is a 2D fighting game independently developed by Reverge Labs and co-published by Autumn Games and Konami. The game takes place in the fictional Canopy Kingdom and follows a struggle to seek out the "Skull Heart", a mystical item capable of granting any woman's wish. If the wisher is impure of heart, however, her wish is corrupted and she is turned into a "Skullgirl" – a monstrous entity with immense power bent on the destruction of the world. The game's events revolve around various individuals seeking out the current Skullgirl, Marie, to defeat her and claim the Skull Heart for their own agendas.
(Long story short, the game is fast paced and very fun. The 2D style fighting, is very similar to that of Guilty Gear, BlazBlue; and or old school Street Fighter.) [There is currently 10 characters to choose from with a wide range of color palettes. There are 8 base characters form the game with 2 DLC characters.]
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus | Arcade - Guilty Gear X2 continues the overall plot of the series, which takes place in a fictional 22nd century in which its present time has just recovered from a 100-year-war against man-made bio-organic weapons called "Gears". A few years later, however, there is rumors about a new type of Gear that the government started to chase. It is discovered that this Gear is Dizzy, a girl who does not wish harm anyone. As she joins the Jellyfish Air Pirates, the authorities find that the threat has disappeared, stopping to chase her. It picks up the story approximately two weeks after the events of its predecessor, Guilty Gear X. A new organization called Post-War Administration Bureau is looking for and destroying Gears, descendants of Japanese, and those who are able to use qi energy in combat. To achieve their goals the organization has created several copies of Ky Kiske, the Robo-Kys. In addition, I-No sparks conflict as she wants to destroy all she perceived threats to her master, "That Man", the creator of the Gears. Each character provide a different ending to Guilty Gear X2. [Its another 2D fighter, from makers of BlazBlue.]
Pacific Rim | Arcade - The Pacific Rim video game is a digital downloadable title released on Xbox LIVE that recreates the epic battles between massive Jaegers and Kaiju depicted in the film. The character models to appear in the game were created from the same model data used in the film, allowing the Jaegers and Kaiju in the game to remain true to their original forms. Each Jaeger and Kaiju is unique in design, with their own weapons and fighting styles, meaning players will have to alter their tactics to account for the attributes of their character and opponent. This may include using a plasma cannon against a flying opponent, or using speed to your advantage against a bulky giant. The game will feature a variety of landscapes, from ocean waters to city, and will also contain destructible buildings in the stages. You can do a Power Move and a Fatal Assault move for each character. Power Moves are stronger regular moves and do a lot of damage to your opponent. Fatal Assault moves instantly KO your opponent, but they leave you vulnerable while they charge up. Plus, your opponent can dodge a Fatal Assault move which leaves you vulnerable for an attack as well. The different character's Fatal Assault moves are listed below. [This game also supports multiplayer, has about 5 Jaegers, and about 9 Kaiju. You can customize you Jaeger to fit your play style, you can even take it to online play.]
Skydrift | Arcade - The game features multiple game modes which are primarily focused on combat racing. Two downloadable content packs have been released which add additional planes and two new game modes. The game was well received, with aggregate scores ranging in the mid-to-high 70% range. Critics generally felt that the gameplay was strong, that the controls were responsive, and that the online multiplayer was excellent, though multiple reviewers cited disappointment in the lack of any local multiplayer.
In SkyDrift players pilot one of several airplanes in a fictional racing competition. Gameplay is similar to other airplane racing games such as Plane Crazy and the flight mode of Diddy Kong Racing. The game features 33 single player challenge stages as well as online multiplayer. While the primary focus is racing, dogfights play a large part in some of SkyDrift's game modes. Players are rewarded with boost, which provides a temporary burst of speed, by flying acrobatically, low to the ground, or by taking down opponents. Planes and their separate liveries are unlocked as players progress and complete specified challenges. As players progress on a given course they are sometimes presented with progressing environment hazards such as falling rocks or an avalanche.
Three game modes are included with the game, with two more available via downloadable content. The first game mode, Power Race, is a hybrid of both racing and combat. Players can collect power-ups to give their planes different abilities. These abilities include such things as missiles, machine guns, mines, or an EMP blast. The goal is to use whatever means necessary to achieve the highest finishing rank at the end of a given race. The second mode is focused solely on racing. Entitled Speed Race, this mode omits all weapons and power-ups. In their place are rings scattered throughout the course. Flying through these rings provides the plane with an extra burst of speed, and flying through multiple in succession will multiply that speed. As with Power Race the goal is to finish the race in as high a rank as possible.
The third mode included with the game is known as Survivor. Gameplay is similar to Power Race, however after a given time the racer in last place is eliminated. Power-ups are included in this mode and can be used to increase one's place, thus avoiding elimination. The race is over when all human players are eliminated or a human player is takes first place. The two downloadable modes, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, are focused solely on dogfights with other players. These modes are played in three new arenas and are limited to online gameplay.
