Nintendo fans! Recently, a Pokémon X & Y tournament was added to the growing list of events for the 2014 Halloween Festival.
Considering the 3DS is the second most popular console in Panic Nation (excluding PC), we'd like to add more events for Nintendo's handheld!
Listed in the poll above are two insanely popular 3DS games that have potential to become successful events in Panic Nation.
First on the list is the brand new Super Smash Brothers for 3DS, Nintendo's epic all-star fighter that I personally have spent HOURS on in the past few days. While I haven't been able to find any of you who have the title yet (Really!? I need some smash buddies!), some of our less active members might have the game or if some clan members are willing to rent it for the duration of the event we could have one epic fighting tournament added to the festival! (Family video is a great game rental store. Games, including new releases, are $5 for 5 nights. Check here to see if a store is near you!)
Second is an older title, Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I know quite a few members have this title already and so it would be an easy addition to the line-up if interest was high enough. There are a few different ideas for an Animal Crossing based event including a costume contest similar to the one we have planned for Grand Theft Auto Online, a mini-game tournament on Tortimer's Island, fishing/bug catching challenges or simply hanging out in someone's town!
