UPDATE: Xbox Ones without Kinect will be available June 9th for a lower price tag of $399.

UPDATE #2: Machinima, Twitch and Upload, Netflix, HBO GO, sports apps, Skype and OneDrive will all be in front of the Xbox Live Gold paywall. Meaning free users can access them.

Well. Something I never thought Micro$oft would do has been confirmed.

The company is dropping the paywall for Netflix. No longer will you need a gold account to watch your favorite movies and shows through the streaming service. I'm sure this means Hulu and such will receive similar treatment.

However, surprisingly enough, XBONE is also ditching the mandatory KINECT. This guarantees we will see a price drop on the system likely to be announced at E3.

The one thing I saw, is that games for gold on XBONE will be like PS+ subscription. The games are no longer yours to keep (though they will stay that way on the Xbox 360. Where you can keep them even if you aren't gold).

This kinda' sucks, but also allows for newer titles to be offered through the service.
