You'll need to bid your Guardian farewell for a little while tomorrow (Thursday, November 13). Bungie has notified users that servers will be taken down for maintenance.
The outage is planned to begin at 8 a.m. Pacific / 11 a.m. Eastern and last four hours. Service should be restored at or around 12 p.m. Pacific / 3 p.m. Eastern.
The purpose of the maintenance is to pave the way for future updates. In other words, don't expect things to be different when you log back in.
