Bungie has issued a new patch for Destiny which address some of the issues affecting The Dark Below and its Crota's End raid.
You can check out the full list of patch notes by heading here. In it you will find a number of small very specific fixes like, "On the Sniper Rifle, Black Hammer, the Hive Breaker upgrade has been disabled until it is fixed to play nicely with the White Nail upgrade." Most of the updates affect Crota's End however with fixes like, "Crota will now recover from his kneeling state after a player quits," an exploit many players have taken advantage of.

PN Opinion: These patch notes have a few interesting bits in them like the fact that Iron Banner now has a level 32 Hand Cannon I might consider going after. However, what is going to stick out the most to everyone is the crazy amount of effort put into fixing up the Crota raid. I noticed that there was no addressing the pit encounter when a single hunter can solo the experience. This might be because Bungie sees this tactic as a viable strategy or perhaps they simply can't figure out a way to fix it. They've also went and added a drop table to the Deathsinger - a very much needed update considering most people consider this the hardest encounter in the raid. However, with Crota fixed (I'm still curious as to how they managed to patch the Warlock revive glitch) I'm not only cautious upon entering the raid again and eager to see how well Panic Nation can clean up and how quick we can clear it 100% legit but I'm also wary of the frustration that I'm sure to be feeling. Just remember guys and girls, we're playing with friends. Be patient and be nice! I know I'm going to have to be reminding myself that!
